Marben | THE local eating brunch in Toronto
Does Marben deserve the mention of The Best Brunch of TO? Well, I might not have tried all of the Brunch Spots… but this one deserves ‘La Palme d’Or’ for sure!

We might be downtown Toronto, but we felt far away with the cozy ambiance, the ‘farm’ decor, and the kindness of the staff. Everything is local and carefully chosen [find where your eggs, milk, tomatoes (and all of your dish!) are from with their ‘Farmers We Love’ list]. Isn’t it great to know that your food didn’t travel more than 200k? Loved it!

While [im]patiently waiting for our food, we were brought some of their delicious homemade bread, served with jam and butter. Treats before my meal, I’m all for it!
So, I was able to convince my date to pick something sweet, when I got something savoury [I always have that dilemma when at brunch - salty or savoury?]. We tried 2 heavenly-good items: Michele’s Benny (see picture) , and Evan’s bread pudding French toast. The Eggs Benedict were really good but the French Toasts brought me to 7th Heaven! Moist and flavorful! The Best French Toast in town for sure!
Marben is located on Wellington street ; the infamous ‘Farmhouse’ just reopened last year. They’re also open for Lunch and Dinner, but I only had a chance to try their Brunch yet. Who’s in for a date?
